Formerly a studio vocalist in Miami, Florida and a singer for the Jackie Gleason Show, Eddie
Rackley began his musical studies with clarinet lessons at age six and went
on to study piano, guitar, and most of the other orchestral instruments. He
received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Miami in
Florida, where he studied with Dr. Alfred Reed, one of America's best-known
living composers.
Eddie has served as minister of music at churches in
Florida, North Carolina, and Kentucky, where all of his choirs were
supported by full orchestras. He has also worked as a vocal and instrumental
clinician in North Carolina and Florida. He helped organize Florida's 1976
national bicentennial program, which aired from the Miami Beach Auditorium.
He has extensive recording and production experience and continues to record
and produce albums in Nashville, Tennessee for Christian artists and church
choirs. He is currently the worship leader at the Emerald Coast Fellowship
in Lynn Haven, Florida.
